Heading to Shepherd Center on Monday....

Good News!

Mrs. Sneed just spoke to our hero (Dr. Cummings) at Northside who said this is an appropriate time to move Lori to the Shepherd Center ICU. Dr. Leslie and other doctors at Shepherd will try to aggressively remove her from the ventilator and her road to recovery.

They are still keeping Lori somewhat sedated because of the tube; however she continues to look better each day!

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers!

Lori, Like everyone else who knows and loves you, we are praying for your speedy recovery. You are so strong and are truly an inspiration to so many. I'm so glad Brad had a chance to come see you and visit with everyone, it meant the world to him. You know how truly special you are and always will be to my family. I consider myself so blessed to know such a person as you. God Bless and we love you. Jill Conwill Thames and family

Lori, I will never forget how you came to my room at Shepherd in June 2003- my friend saw you at the elevator and asked you to talk to me. I was so impressed with your positive attitude. You made me choose a new direction for my recovery and I will always remember everything you told me. I am praying for your good health. Love- Deborah Ross

There is a world of people praying for Lori. While she is perhaps not "out of the woods" just yet, it seems to be the feeling that someday she will be.

There are just as many people out here that feel that Lori is a fortunate young lady to have the three of you as her family.

The Stewart Sneed Hewes family is praying for all of you.

Dear Lori and family,
I am praying for you and your family every day. Your presence is missed here at CNN, as is your beautiful smile and wicked humor.
Please get better soon!
Love,
Alanne Orjoux
