You talk too much!!

Lori told me she was tired this morning. Well, yeah! She talked too much yesterday and wore herself out! They want her to pace herself today and rest in between speaking times. The pulmonologist is SO pleased with the amount of time she is able to be off the ventilator and the progess with the voice adapter. Today they will try letting her suck on a piece of ice to see how she is swallowing. Everything is good. Thank you to everybody!!

Don't you think she might have a lot to say in reponse to what she's had to listen to while unable to reply! I'm sure all of you will get an earful from her - all the smart-alek remarks she heard from Shorty and Johnny will take weeks to respond to! Delighted to continue to hear good news from y'all. I haven't written in a few weeks, but you all, Lori in particular, have been in my thoughts and prayers. It's been great reading the daily progress you've been making and it keeps my spirit's high. I hope I can get a look at that improv tape everyone's been raving about. Sounds hilarious. Take care all.
