Alot of IF's

1) IF the lung culture doesn't grown anything by tomorrow, the Quarantine could be lifted.
2) IF she sleeps again tonight without the Ventilator, then doctors will replace her trach with a smaller one.
3) IF the stomach feeding continues to go well, they can discontinue the IV Feeding.

Some people have asked what Lori's first words were. I'm sure her first words were "get me the hell out of here!" But, her first words to Patti over the phone were, " Do you hear? This is my voice."

thanks

Such great IF's to hear of - what a great week! I love checking my Lori board - it used to not be this fun!! But now that she speaks and what she says and how elated the messages have been....I just can't wait for my Lori checks! Great news guys - for sure....keep on keepin' on Lori - you prove that being bullheaded and proving everyone wrong is a great way to be! I got goosebumps to hear your voice in my head telling your Mom that this is your voice - I know it was the absolute best gift ever! Take it slow - keep it positive and steady - it's been a long spring and summer for y'all. Take care and as always THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Sneeds! Your girl is a fighter because she is so well bred! Your constant love and dedication has brought Lori up her hill and allowed all of us to be a part of your lives and to keep her prayer chain alive. What a great inspiration you all are! Be proud of the goodness you all spread together, a fantastic unit of a family! Take care - and I will keep on looking all day each day! -deedee, smiling in colorado
