48 hours post-surgery--- Holding steady

as of 11:45 a.m.

- Stable and doing fine. sleeping. sedated.
- we are waiting to talk to the Pulmonary Doctor
- Skin specialist said the ileostomy looked very good around the stoma (opening in her skin).
- Breathing is good
- Blood pressure good (receiving only one pressor)
- urine is good

Thank you for keeping this site updated. I must check in 5 times a day to make sure I know the latest. I'm a friend of Lori's from Ole Miss..now living in ATL...and have a network of people praying hard and helping Lori and all of you with this fight. Stay Strong. Adrian Jordan Love

Dear Sneed Family,
Got an email from an Ole Miss Pi Phi today-- can't belive what Lori is currently going through. I was one year behind Lori in Pi Phi, and it seems like just yesterday I helped carry her down to the chapter room in her wheelchair each week. That was well over 10 years ago! I'll pray for you and for Lori that she recovers successfully from this ordeal. Take just one day at a time...

All of your Pi Phi friends in Tupelo are praying for a quick recovery. You are a tough girl and we know you'll be up and honking horn wheelchair as you run people over in no time!!

Just had to post again...I have run the through 10 billion Ole Miss / Pi Phi memories ...Last one was remembering Lori playing her walk-man SOOO loud in study hall..I remember thinking " What is with this loud chic from Gulfport..She is something else.." Then there is that laugh I started thinking about again..Then her winning most beautiful eyes ( from Sigma Nu ) Sooooo many wonderful memories...Keep it up , Sneed! love , joanie
