Time Flies

Sorry for the delay in posting an Update.

Patti is in Atlanta with Lori, and they are having a pretty good week.  Lori has slept well the last several nights, which is great.   No abnormal fever either...WoooHoooo!!
Lori will have some Bloodwork done this week checking her White Blood Cell Count.
Having completed the schedule of antibiodics, Lori was able to have the PICC line removed from her arm.
This past week, Lori got in her chair for a few hours every day, and she painted a few things, too.
Unfortunately, Lori is still struggling with headaches during the day.

Lori wants everyone to know how much she appreciates your concern for her.

thank you.

love,
the sneeds

Hi Lori,
My good friend, Edgar Dapremont, who left a comment on your blog back on June 10th, let me know about your blog recently. You and I used to work at Wet Willy's Waterslide together many summers ago. I was the "other/older" Lori (Brown) who worked in the ticket office. I used to love chatting with you because you were so bubbly and genuine. One memory that I shared with Edgar was you bursting in the door at work with your bag of Wendy's and you just eating your big ol' messy Wendy burger and fries and laughing and chatting with me and everyone until you had to clock in. I always got the biggest kick out of you. You were this gorgeous, petite girl who ate like a 250 lb. truck driver! I wish you all the best with your art and your recovery from surgery as well. I plan to follow your blog so thanks for posting and for inspiring us all to follow our passion in life.
Take care of you,
Lori Grant

Hey Lori (and Sneeds),

Mom and dad went down to Biloxi this past weekend for Andrew and Kim's daughter's Christening. Mom noticed your mother wasn't playing the organ(you know how those organists stick together) and Andrew told her about your illness and mom just told me last night. Hence, I'm sorry for not writing sooner. Now that you have come so far, I suppose I'm a "Johnny come lately." No offense Johnny. :) I'll keep up on your progress and know things will continue in the right direction. Take care of you.

Lori, So good to have an update and a positive one at that. I know you are glad you mother is back. One of my friend's daughter said, "When I'm sick, I just want to go home, put on my big fuzzy slippers, not worry about my hair or make-up, and just watch TV." You are probably tired of the TV, but the point is, one always feels better when home with their mother taking care of them. So glad your pic line was removed. That will be one less obstacle to get in your way. Hope your followi-up with your doctors will give you a clue of how to get rid of your headaches.

We love you, The Gewins
