lori sat up

Lori sat up in her bed today. Brushed her hair. Doing pretty well.
Doctors want her to sit in her chair every meal to help her digestion, circulation, breathing, etc.
Last night, she was nauseated and having problems with her digestion. Everything looked ok in her X-ray, and after a day of a liquid diet, Doctor Cummings said she could eat what she wanted tomorrow.
She is very tired, and was a bit dispirited at times today, but seemed in really good spirits tonight.
Tweaking the levels of her seizure and pain medicine. Watching her sodium levels, which had been low.
CT tomorrow.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
love,
the sneeds

Try not to be discouraged. You are the bravest person I know. It is obvious that you are improving every day. Just know that the prayers and thoughts of all who know you are there for you each and every day.Hang in there!!!! It will be worth the effort. We love you. Donna Gewin

Lori, I just learned from Frances about your surgery. I am sending waves of love and prayers to you and will be reading the blog daily to follow your recovery. I hadn't read the blog in a while and just laughed out loud at your stories of falling out of the bed after your night out with Johnny and burning your scalp with the hair dryer for beauty's sake. You find the humour in everything and keep the rest of us smiling and cheering for you! With much love,
Katherine Thames

Lori, I'm glad to hear that you are doing better. I think about you every day. You are so inspirational to me as I'm sure you are to so many others.
One of Mom's favorite quote's was "Be great in little things." - St. Fracis Xavier
However, I think in your case she would say you have been great in enormous things.
Thinking of you and know tomorrow will be better.
love,
Rebecca
PS
I am laughing at Katherine's comment above about the things we do for beauty's sake. And remembering all the stories from high school and on. And will never forget the day mom helped host your "shower".
Thinking of you.

Lori,

It's Paul Varian. I was so glad to hear from Johnny today that you were doing better. You've really been on my mind. I'd love to come visit when you or your family thinks it's OK. Make sure they let me know.
You're a tough lady, bolstered no doubt by the support of a great family and your legion of friends. We all miss you. Cheers.
Paul
