snap my fingers and make this all go away

Understandably, Lori expressed this today. Recovery from this surgery has been harder than we anticipated, and Lori felt a bit overwhelmed today, but we still feel we had a relatively good day.
- still trying to find the right balance of medicines for the pain in her head. She seemed more lucid througout the day today, and the pain seemed to be more tolerable.
-Doctors are monitoring her blood sugar levels. (the steroids that are used to lessen the swelling have affected her blood sugar)
-Lori was a little concerned today that her peripheral vision had declined compared to her pre-surgery vision. Doctors feel and we hope that this is temporary and will improve as Lori improves.

Thank you.

love,
the sneeds

Lori,
We just found out about what's been going on with you. We just want you to know we are thinking of you, praying for you, and that you are truly a "profile in courage", an inspiration that we can use as an example to our children what true strength and character is. I hope you never tire of people like us expressing our admiration for your unbelievable qualities. Please, don't be discouraged. Keep fighting and know that there are so many people out there pulling for you and praying for you to get better. We love you, Lori.

For anyone who gets the OleMiss Alumni Review magazine, be sure to check the article on pgs.32-35. It is all about our hero Lori - a really great read.

Lori, Hope the doctors find a solution for your headaches real soon. I know when you feel better, you will be able to think positively and realize this is temporary. Even the medicines you are taking for pain could affect your peripheral vision.
Sure hope you recover quickly. We all love you and your family and are praying for you daily.
Love to all, Donna Gewin
