"Moving On Up" Monday...

The 2 numbers we want to be done are actually down:
  • The white blood count is 13
  • The billirubin is 5

The Platelets are up to 79, which is also good.

The abdonmen and lung draining tubes still show fluid and continue to drain.

We hope to perform the tracheotomy Tuesday or Wednesday of this week...keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for all of your support!

Dear Patty:

Just a note that I am praying for all of you. Lori is strong and I know God is carrying her every step of the way. Try to keep your strength up and rest when you can. If there is anything I can do to help you while you are away, please let me know.

Hi Sneeds,
What a sweet relief to get this news of Lori's improvement! I will continue to pray that with each day that passes, more good news will come. I am also so happy that you got to communicate a little with Lori when she was not so sedated. That must have been so wonderful for you all. Lori, keep up the good work!
Love to all of you,
Brenda Hunter

sneeds- it has been a long time since i have seen you all! Lori- about 12 years since i last saw you in oxford. my mother and grannie have kept me informed regarding your career & whereabouts & now this situation. I have always been impressed by your independence, self-confidence and will to fight the adversity in your life. You are an inspiration to us all. Needless to say- the entire Bowen/Bell family is praying for you & your family. We are all cheering you on!

YIPPEE YIPPEE YEH YEH! I love to hear your good news! I'm sure it is still tough, but to have even a little bit of Lori back and get some good news sure is a GREAT feeling....even my husband is checking on her every few hours and he has never met her. You can't help but cheer on and catch the contagious love for such a great girl and her family! He tells me each time he checks that she is so mesmerizing - all I can say to him is - I wish you could meet her in person - she is just a gift from above! So very happy for any inkling of good - I watch and wait each and every day - several times a day along with the rest of us....GOOD JOB LORI! Your accomplishments each day give me such strength in my own life...you are the greater good we all talk about - YEH YEH YEH!!! I can feel it!!! YEH SNEEDS! Keep it up!!
love and well wishes from colorado - deedee

Mr. & Mrs. Sneed,
I didn't realize that Lori was in the hospital, this link was send to Terri and I through another college friend. I am thinking of her and you all. I will check it daily and think of you all more often than that.
Love,
Toni Wackerfuss (Nadlicki)
