Shepherd - Day 2

ICU at Shepherd is going in a positive way. For 7 hours, Lori was off the vent and using the talking valve.

- Great that she has a wide selection of things to drink, and a good, but narrower, selection of food to eat. She feels full fast, but eating is a good thing.

love,

Hello Lori(and Sneed clan)! It sounds like the doctor you had at the hospital was phenominal, but I know that being over at Shepherd where everyone is in tune with addressing all your needs as only they know how, will really accelerate the healing process. Of course, everyone knows that the rehab process all depends on the individual which means you'll "heal" even faster with your grit and determination. I look forward to hearing your daily triumphs as do so many others. Take care girl.

Sneeds:

It has been a few days since I checked the blog and am thrilled at the progress. Y'all remain in our prayers daily. And Patti, while you're grooming Lori, make sure that you don't forget Shorty and Johnny. If memory serves me, they could use a little routine pelt maintenance as well.

Hang in there!

Dear Sneeds:

What great news about Lori eating and drinking and especially breathing on her own for 7 hours! It seems everything is falling in place now!
