Training Days
- Lori got a new bed which seems to be better for her sores. Let's all keep hoping that she doesn't need surgery!
- Working hard to get off the Ventilator. She believes she's making progress because she can feel strain in some of the muscles she's using to breathe.
- Mom says Lori is looking better
- Each day is demanding. Lori is staying busy with OT, PT, speech therapy, etc.
thank you

Lori,
Hey there. I just got back from Little Rock visiting Angela Pearce (now Smiley) and she sends her love and prayers. we laughed a lot about our time living with you and laying on your bed talking, tv and taking naps. she and I managed to do the same and it was like you were right there with us with all the remote controls. Her husband thought that was a bit strange...Ha!
She has 2 little boys who are wonderful.
I'm headed to Gulfport next weekend to visit with mom and then Laurie and I have talked and it looks like i will be coming into Atlanta to see you the weekend of July 28th. I hope that works for you. I can't wait to give you a big hug.
I know how frustrated you must be, I can see your facial expressions now, just take it day by day and sooner than you realize you will be back to your old self.
I love you, Karen
