Are you still checking?????

Hey,

I'm still logging in... are you still checking? If so, the latest news is as follows... Monday, I saw the plastic surgeon who checks my wound recovery. One is completely healed and the other will be by the next visit, within a few weeks - yea!

Dr. Leslie, who has always checked on EVERYTHING, confirmed what we were thinking about my lack of energy. He said we should expect a "return to normalcy" a year from my discharge (Sept), from the hospital, instead of a year from the day of my incident (April). He thinks I'm doing very well at this stage of my recovery.

At this point, I'm still working on building my energy level, improving my ability to read and my ability to drive. I'm getting there slowly, but surely!
I wish all of you the best, even those who aren't still checking:)!

PS. My link to my art work has taken a little longer that planned, but I expect to have it ready in a couple weeks. I'm excited about this! When you get a chance, check it out and spread the word. :)

Dear Lori, I was up late putting my lesson plans online and checked your site.....so, yes, I am still checking. You are an amazing young woman. Congrats on the fabulous driving test...but I have to admit that I'm not surprised because I think God has made you to do almost anything. Get plenty of rest day and night. I'm looking forward to seeing this art work. We(all people related to the Keiths)love you. I hope you can come see us at St.Mark's soon. Love, Robin

Hi Lori, I'm still checking in. I was beginning to wonder if you were checking in. :) But wasn't worried because I knew Lauren had spoken to you. I checked your site a couple of nights ago when I was writing a blog about you on myspace. I have you and my mom as my heros. And so in my blog I felt like I needed to explain who Lori is. Aside from the most amazing woman. So, glad to hear that things are still progressing. I'll be watching for the art work.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey Lori - I have not posted in FOREVER - so I have to apologize. It is so great to hear from YOU on this blog! I met one of your friends, Leslie, a couple of weeks ago. It is so weird that one of your good friend's is my good friends' friend! I think there were too many "friends" in there. No, we can never have too many friends, can we?! Anyway, she was adorable and hysterical - I had a great time w/ all of them. I hate that I missed seeing you over Christmas. Maybe I will see you over Easter? Sounds like you are doing pretty great in your recovery. I think you are like a walking miracle - you are just amazing. You are such an inspiration to so many people. Probably many more than you realize! I hope I get to see you soon. Meanwhile, I will keep you in my prayers every day! Keep up the good work. I'll keep my eye out for your art work website - good luck w/ that project!:)
