Surgery Went Well
Doctors removed the abscess successfully this morning and were very pleased with the results. Originally, we thought Lori would need to spend 24 hours in the ICU, but doctors felt she could be placed in the intermediate ICU, which is great news. She doesn't feel so great right now, but we are all relieved.
We think Lori will remain in the hospital for another 3 to 5 days.

Well, Lori, now you have something new to blog about and something for your annual Christmas poem. Seriously, we were so upset to hear about your surgery but so relieved to hear it went well. We hate to know you are suffering again, but hope that will be short-lived.
Patti and Shorty, I have great pictures of Lori and Johnny made after Fri. night's play. I tried to take them by twice, but you must have been in Atlanta both times. They are so precious together and seem to enjoy each other's company.
